More Details: This course is for all those considering carrying a concealed firearm after obtaining a George Weapons Carry License. This course is comparable to courses required for concealed carry licenses in some states.
What You Will Learn
During the course, you will learn how to safely handle and carry a firearm. Areas and questions that will be covered are:
- What are the 4 rules of safe gun handling.
- Safe storage and transportation or firearms.
- Principle handgun parts and operations.
- Safely loading and unloading a handgun.
- Developing a firearms home safety plan.
- Choosing between concealed and open carry.
- Types and styles of holsters.
- Review of Georgia law.
- Where and where you cannot carry a firearm in Georgia.
- How to properly grip your pistol.
- How to safely draw and deliver your firearm.
- Sight alignment and sight picture.
- Taking your first shots.
Students will receive course materials.

Beginner level course usually open to 15 attendees.
