The information is so important that we decided to offer a class for those that aren’t able to attend a course offered by their local police or other law enforcement organization.

More Details:  The course goes through the history of Active Shootings, planning for an AS event, some psychology and what to do during an actual AS event. We are offering this class at no charge to churches, civic organizations etc. We will also be hosting these classes regularly for the public at a very low cost.

The seminar is available for businesses, corporations etc. at their location for a reasonable cost.

What You Will Learn

Areas and questions that will be covered are:

  • Some of the facts around Active Shooter events
  • The demographics of the perpetrators of Active Shootings
  • The human psychology of reactions during high-stress events
  • How to build an Active Shooter Plan for an organization
  • What to do during an Active Shooter event
  • Self-defense options
  • How your attitude may decide your outcome
  • What to do after an Active Shooter event
  • What the police will do and how their tactics have changed
  • Some of the effects of being involved during these difficult events

This seminar can be presented to groups of 8 or more.  Please check our calendar for available public seminars or contact us to schedule a private seminar for your group or organization.

More Details:  This course is for all those considering carrying a concealed firearm after obtaining a George Weapons Carry License.  This course is comparable to courses required for concealed carry licenses in some states.

What You Will Learn

During the course, you will learn how to safely handle and carry a firearm.  Areas and questions that will be covered are:

  • What are the 4 rules of safe gun handling.
  • Safe storage and transportation or firearms.
  • Principle handgun parts and operations.
  • Safely loading and unloading a handgun.
  • Developing a firearms home safety plan.
  • Choosing between concealed and open carry.
  • Types and styles of holsters.
  • Review of Georgia law.
  • Where and where you cannot carry a firearm in Georgia.
  • How to properly grip your pistol.
  • How to safely draw and deliver your firearm.
  • Sight alignment and sight picture.
  • Taking your first shots.

Students will receive course materials.
